Last summer I had the opportunity to shoot stills for Meek Mill’s “Blue Notes 2”. It was a blast and I luckily got to do most of it on film using a combination of cameras; I mainly used the Contax 645, a Nikon 35mm, and some point and shoots. Here are some behind the scenes I got with my digital.
The Art department for the video did a really great job at creating atmospheric environments for every set. It made it so much more enjoyable to do my job with them supporting the vision. I”m always passionate about photography, but when there are colored gels involved and bright lights I can’t help but feel the excitement.
Here are a few photos I took on set, I hope you enjoy them. Check out the music video to see some of the stills used.
